I was originally going to wait until I drew out the entire chronicle to post it but I’m a bit tired so I thought I’d post the first part of this since a lot of people have been asking me how I broke my ankle and it’s kind of hard to explain. In classic illustrator fashion, I thought it’d be easier to just draw it out so y’all can stop asking me how it happened! The moral of the story is to not be a clumsy bastard like me and watch your step.

Honestly this experience has been pretty funny and I’ve still been in high spirits. It sucks for sure, but at least it happened during winter so I have no reason to leave the house anyways. It’s just funny how things were going so well that I needed to be humbled a bit by the universe.

Regardless, I hope everyone who celebrates, has a wonderful Thanksgiving this week. We had to unfortunately cancel our trip to spend Thanksgiving with Adam’s family in Baltimore so we’ll be stuck in New York. I am forcing Adam to make a Thanksgiving meal and I ordered a pumpkin pie from our favorite local bakery so hopefully there will still be some celebration!
