Popping in after my brief break to bless your eyes with this new post. I hope everyone in the US had a restful Thanksgiving (mine was absolute chaos). Adam got laid off right before Thanksgiving BUT cause he’s a smart guy, he had already felt the tingles of the company downsizing and was already interviewing for another (better) position! So he literally got laid off in the morning, came home and had a 3rd, then 4th round interview for another job. What a champ. And of course, HE GOT IT! Everybody congratulate Adam for having the shortest stint of unemployment ever known to man (probably).
In fun book news, I’ve been finding my book everywhere! It’s fun popping into bookstores and signing books randomly. I’m surprised by how kindhearted and trustworthy booksellers are as they happily let me sign without questions. What if I was an absolute psycho who didn’t make the book?
The biggest book news was that my friend
spotted my book, lining the shelves of MOMA in NY!!! That’s right! Ya girl’s art is in MOMA. I’m counting it, it counts! I can’t believe I have like 20 paintings in the MOMA now and they’re actually affordable! Hah!The holidays are coming up and I am going to once again plug that you can purchase my books below:
A note, paid subscriptions are still paused to take the pressure off me and my hand recovery! My hand is slowly getting better but of course I’m still going to take it easy. I just couldn’t help making a little comic.
What lies did your parents tell you as a kid? What lies do you tell your kids?
I can’t wait to read about how unhinged everyone is.
My parents told me this whopper about an old man breaking into our house every December to reverse-burgle us, but otherwise I don't remember anything.
Hahaha oh my gosh, maybe I shouldn't be but I'm finding your parents absolutely delightful XD
