Part 3

This actually happened to my friend. We went out to get afternoon tea at an expensive hotel to celebrate someone’s birthday and my friend wore sneakers which were forbidden. They wouldn’t let us in until she went home and changed into heels!

I still really like quite a portion of this project. I used it a lot in my portfolio when I was starting out in school to the point where my iconic “Everyone in London wears black” illustration was actually ripped off by another SVA illustration student when I was there. Funny how inspiration “happens.” But in all seriousness, don’t copy other people’s artwork, it’s not cool and you’ll always be one step behind.
