Making ANOTHER Book Cover
It's Pizza Brothers time!
These past couple of months I’ve been deep in the trenches working on final art for my fourth book titled The Pizza Brothers.
Here’s a sneak peek at the art:
I’ve been painting the book with acrylic and it has been a lot of fun! Lots of ooey gooey textures which I’ve been trying to embrace. I will say the one thing that really bothers me is how fast acrylic dries but alas, I guess there is no perfect medium.
I wrapped up the art a couple weeks ago and I am honestly IN LOVE!!! It’s turning into one of my favorite books that I’ve painted so far. I can’t wait for it to come out next fall.
Now… onto the reason we are all here, you guys want to see cover peeks right?
Well, here we go!
The main points I wanted to get across with this cover were:
There is pizza
The pizza is very BIG
There are 3 brothers
One brother is doing everything and struggling while the other two are having a carefree and fun time
