After lunch I went to do quick sketches in Gion before it got dark and my sister captured some cute photos of me drawing!

The final sketch. My sister was like: “it must be nice drawing it cause you can just remove all the people easily unlike in photos!”

We went and got fancy cocktails on our last night in Kyoto! There was no menu and the bartender makes a drink depending on what you like. I am not a drinker so I just told her fruity and sweet and she made me the most delectable strawberry cocktail.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a couple weeks! I was frolicking in New Zealand with my family and I just got back to New York last Thursday night. I seem to have overbooked myself in May and have way too many things going on, so we will see if I get it all done! For now, here is part one of my Japan trip, hopefully part two will be along soon…
