There is no greater thrill in life than finding an excellent TV show and then discovering that there are 40 seasons of episodes for you to catch up on. It is now our mission to watch it all in preparation for Adam applying for Survivor (just kidding… Or am I???). Whether or not I can sit through episodes before 2016 is questionable though as every other second someone on the show will probably be saying something sexist, fatphobic, ableist, racist, or transphobic. The 2000s were wild.
If you missed out on our obsession with Physical 100, you can read about it in my Hourly Comics Day post where I talk about how amazing the show is.
I drew today’s newsletter with ANOTHER new fountain pen I got. I know… I know… I have too many pens, but listen! This pen is a chunky one and all my other pens are thin and require more hand dexterity which hurts my wrist! So this pen is an investment and good for me okay! Below is the pen I got, it is a sexy little TWSBI Eco in a medium nib and it is made in Taiwan just like me.
This morning I got out of bed and murdered the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in my entire life right by the foot of our bed. It was so big when its life force was smacked out of it by my slipper, its black guts exploded everywhere. I don’t know how I can recover from this and go about my day now.
Adam and I have been considering avenues of leaving New York for the past couple of weeks and maybe a massive cockroach is the sign that it’s time to leave.
Anyways, I hope you, dear reader, have a cockroach free day!
And if you find yourself without a TV show to watch with the SAG and WGA strikes going on, you know EXACTLY what I recommend…
We’ve missed physical 100 too!!! Looks like we have a show to fill the void now. Thanks for saving our lives, Lian
I have never seen Survivor either somehow. I remember when it started I was adamant that reality TV was a waste of time. But, it’s now years later and I admit I’ve been sucked into a few reality shows, so you’ve convinced me to give it a shot!
