The Past Two Weeks

A short update from the other side of the world!

Just a short update today to let y’all know that I am indeed alive and made it to Taiwan safely. I have just been slightly pummeled by bodily ailments but I promise I will be back with more comic content soon.

I’m actually going to be taking a one week trip to Japan with my sister next week so if you have any recommendations for Kyoto and Tokyo, drop them in the comments below!

In other news, I’ve been trying to use the camera I already have more intentionally after I got sucked into the rabbit hole of Tiktok influencing me to get the Fujifilm x100v. I currently have the Sony RX100VII which is a hand-me-down from my dad who has been an avid photographer for over 30 years. The Sony is a PERFECTLY great camera but of course I’m always tempted by the shiny new thing. So I’m going to actually just use the camera I have now and learn to edit my photos properly without splurging on a new camera for no reason. I also considered getting into film photography too, but for now I think I’m just going to take my time to take each picture on my digital camera and simply treat it like a film camera. Regardless, I still have a long way to go in figuring out how to edit and pick the right functions for my camera.

Despite not being a pro, I thought I’d share my little photo journey here. So below, I present some photos from the past couple days:
