My name is Lian, I’m 28 and I’ve been a full time illustrator since 2019 when I graduated from SVA. I currently live in Brooklyn, NY but I was born in Taiwan and also spent a large part of my childhood growing up in New Zealand.
I’ve been illustrating picture books since 2019. My clients include HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, Abrams Books and Chronicle Books. My debut author/illustrator book released in 2023 and I’m here to admit that I still have no idea what I’m doing! I don’t think I’m terribly successful per se but I genuinely thought I’d have a better grasp of myself and my life by now. It doesn’t help that my early 20’s were first engulfed in crippling depression and when the depression cleared out, we were all thrust into the traumatic pandemic.

Why Can’t I Find Your Newsletter?
Because my posts have a lot of images there’s a possibility that the e-mail will be sent to spam!
