I love your comics because for me, they are a journal of your life. It's such a great thing to document the bitter and the sweet that life is. We all lose and gain people, places, things every day because change is always happening. And the only thing we really truly control, my wife told me this morning, is how much we love. I love that and your comics remind me of that. Thank you! Peace, maka
This is so beautiful, Lian. Deeply felt too. I just finished my move to a new neighborhood in Chicago after living with my high school best friend for the last four years. Bittersweet to walk past the tulips blooming on our block for the last time. <3
This is lovely. Thanks for this. Reminds me of when I left London all on my own after 9 years there. It was bittersweet but mostly sad. It inspires me to make my own comic about it.

How lovely and sad. New adventures await ❤️
This brought back memories of when I left New York (sans a moving truck though). Thanks for your illustrations and for sharing the poem.
I remember that last day in NYC for me… a scorching mess of a day.
The heat was unbearable… as I looked at a map of the Pacific Northwest and Seattle.
That’s where I was moving to… and I just bathed in the cool green rain like a salvation.
I’d been in NYC for 5 years and it had been fun… but enough is enough.
Oh, and the landlord had doubled out rent to an astronomical figure.
Seattle was having a downturn and everything was cheap…
So in fact it was the smartest move I could have made, since now I had an agent.
Thanks for sharing. It's very bittersweet. Congratulations on your new adventure.
Whoaa😭😭😭crying too
Miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥲
