Thank you for this very well researched, illustrated, written and thought out article. I am the child of a refugee and I’ve shared it with other folks I think will listen. I’m heartened that both of the senators of my state (Michigan) have called for a ceasefire and I sincerely hope that the “leaders” who started and continue this relentless, cowardly remote assault on the people in Gaza (half of them children) in the name of “defense” stop, if only because they themselves would be horrified to be considered equal to any other leader who openly targeted a small minority, gradually stripped them of basic rights, freedom and humanity and then annihilated them in the name of national defense and prosperity.
