Anyways, back to my HarperCollins visit…

At the offices, I got to pretend to be a celebrity as we filmed some fun segments which we’re going to share on the Harper social media channels. We’re planning to have some illustrated portions of the video in the style of my newsletter pieced together with footage of me which is so exciting!

I also got the opportunity to host a “meet and greet” with my amazing marketing team. Usually meet and greets entail the editor asking the author/illustrator questions and then doing a Q&A with the team.

Back in May of this year, I was invited to read my comics at a stand up show in Brooklyn. I decided to read two of my favorite posts: The Potato Question and Would You Rather? If you want to watch me perform you can watch some of the performance below:

I showed this video to my editor and since she is an absolute genius, she had the brilliant idea of incorporating this game into my meet and greet to make it a bit more unique and fun for everybody! Below is the presentation I came up with for the team as well as some very on brand publishing themed “Would You Rather” questions.
