I am glad to hear you are in the road to recovery even if it is slow. Been there. Had surgery on my index finger twice to remove a tumor. The weirdest physical therapy appointments I could imagine followed. And while it was frustrating and I lost my flow, it can come back. Looking forward to your continued recovery and return to better health!

So glad that your hand is recovering! I can relate to this a lot, having spent several months last year in physical therapy for my back. I also gave my therapist (a dad of two) a copy of one of my books.

Happy New year! May your hand be fully healed. Have fun with the shopping and shows. I would LOVE to see Sweeney Todd in person!

Last year I had tendonitis where I couldn't even lift my arm (the tendonitis was supposed to be in my elbow but it hurt from my shoulder!) So I know what it feels like to not be able to put your pants on! hahaha I hope you can soon be able to do everything without a problem!

Note to anyone reading this: Displays although great can ruin your arm, the old reliable Graphics tablets without a screen are much better for continuous use.

Best of luck with your recovery!

Sorry to hear about your hand, but I'm glad you're gradually recovering. I recognize so much of the equipment you posted!

I had a very bad case of tendinitis and couldn't even hold a cup of water or cut my own food without severe pain. I had years of physiotherapy. Now I still have to be careful (I set an alarm whenever I'm drawing or writing to remind myself to take breaks) but it's manageable.

Sending you all the healing thoughts!

Oooooh I’ve been dealing with De Quervains Tenosynovitis in both thumbs/wrists, so I can relate to your OT experiences, and I recognize those tools! 😅 Glad you’re making progress! Your books are suuuuuuuuch a delight! (I’m the children’s book buyer for nonprofit First Book)

A couple of years ago, I broke both wrists at once. That takes talent! Had to get plates in both, and then physio, so I can completely empathize with what you're going through. My physiotherapist didn't give me interesting stuff to work with, though. Mostly exercises, pushing each wrist backwards with the other hand and squeezing a rolled-up pair of socks. They're almost normal now, though, and I hope yours will soon be too. Don't overdo it at first, though.
