Sooo true I’m PuertoRican and my Family can here when I was 10yo for the same reasons THE LAND OF THE FREE. WHERE NOTHING IS FREE. You are Soo right 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Growing up in a communist, and the post-communist Poland I was surrounded by a similar vision of America being the best place to be. Gosh, they do have an amazing PR. When I was 17 I convinced my mother to send me away to the US for one year for an exchange program. (I managed about 9 months before I returned early). Now I look at Poland with free public universities, 12 month almost fully paid (80% salary) maternity leave, (almost) free state childcare, free public health care system and think, wow, and they convinced us it was better in America.

I just don't understand how anyone can say the students are wrong. They students are never wrong on these things. Not once was there a mass student protest that was wrong.
